As of December 6, 2009 the following are estimates of our first run production time lines. As we are not yet ready for production these times may slip based on current prototype development. Please be patient as we are not going to release a product for general availability that does not meet our desired standards.
Current Production Stage
On December 6, 2009 we poured the first prototype belt into the mold. The cure time is normally 48 hours but due to the weather being so cold we are going to wait an additional 24 hours. Our final assembly of the first pour should happen on Saturday, December 12, 2009.
If the prototype is what we expect then we will begin scheduling appointments for fittings commencing January 2, 2010. General availability will be on January 15, 2010.
Price Point
With current cost considerations it is believed that the new belt will be available at a cost of no more than 1,795 USD. Customers will need to make a non-refundable 250 USD deposit (to secure their fitting date) and provide the remaining payment on the scheduled fitting date.
